Ford Ranger is the name of the line of compact pick-ups produced by the oval brand since 1993. This truck model was marketed in North America jointly with Mazda between 1994 and 2009.

It will also have a 160 hp 2.2 TDCi four-cylinder engine with improvements to offer more power and lower consumption. All engines incorporate Start & Stop.

In its condition as a pick-up, it offers a towing capacity of 3,500 kilos, has a ground clearance of 230 mm, an angle of attack of 28 degrees and a departure of 25 degrees. It also features all- wheel drive with an electronically lockable rear differential that ensures good mobility over rough terrain.

2019 Ford Ranger

This new model of the Ford Ranger will arrive in the North American territory with a slight facelift, produced at the Michigan plant; the new version of the pick-up comes with new headlights and a smaller grille.

So far there are few details on how the new model will be configured as the 4-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine and 10-speed transmission, which comes with Start & Stop technology; Production of the new generation Ranger will begin at the end of this year 2018.
