In the market, since 2011, the Peugeot 508 4-door stands as the current bet of the French house in the segment of large passenger cars.

This sedan has managed to carve a gap between the preferences of the public, by solving the tough competition. Its direct rivals include the Volkswagen Passat, Ford Mondeo and Opel Insignia. Also on the list are the French Renault Laguna and Talisman, as well as their ‘cousin’ the Citroën C5.

With this model, Peugeot has brought back the traditional 500 series, disused since the early 1990s, when the last of the 505 left through a dealership door. Since then, the D segment has been served by the 405 and 407 models, as well as the 605 and 607.

Exterior design

Not surprisingly, the dimensions of this car can create difficulties within crowded urban centers around the world. Finding a place to park its 4.79 meters in length is not an easy task at all.

However, and as an aspect to highlight, its compact design together with its spacious interior make it an ideal model for family trips. Its trunk with 515 liters of capacity offers space to store excess luggage without major difficulties.
