The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a segment D car, manufactured by the Italian brand since 2016. It was presented for the first time at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in 2015. It is a four-door sedan and is the replacement for the Alfa 159.

History

This model was developed as a plan by Fiat Chrysler Automobile to relaunch the brand globally and to compete with premium German models such as the Mercedes C-Class and the BMW 3 Series.

FCA’s strategy is to sell 400,000 units in three years; a third should be in the United States alone.

The creation of this car is part of the attack plan to relaunch Alfa Romeo and for the development of this car, FCA dedicated 20 engineers together with Ferrari technical director Philippe Krief. All effort was little.

Design

On the outside, the Giulia is a complete beauty, no matter where you look. Its lines are perfectly defined, and the overall look is elegant. As you might expect, it features the already charismatic ‘V’ shape on the hood, a must have feature.

The headlights are slightly elongated from the front to the sides of the car, giving it an American car feel, possibly a Chrysler influence.

On the sides there is a sleek design on the doors and body-colored mirrors. While on the rear of the car there are elongated taillights to match the front and double exhaust that gives a more sophisticated touch to the car.

If its exterior is beautiful, its interior is not far behind. Its interior design is elegant and at the same time has the essence of the house brand ‘sport’. On its steering wheel we find some buttons for certain functions of the car.

On the left side of the driver it also has another series of buttons for the control of the lights and other central ones, for the control of the air conditioning and emergency lights.

Also, it has a touch screen in the center of the dash for radio and GPS functions. The Giulia’s speed and revolution counters are analog, and in the middle of these it has a digital meter where it shows more characteristics.

The air conditioning vents in the center have a somewhat more conventional rectangular design, while the end vents are circular.
